Upper School’s Christmas Concert was a night to remember!
Upper School’s Christmas Concert was a night to remember as fine arts students sang and played with passion and joy, weaving their songs into beautiful harmonies.
It was also a night that remembered Mr. S, Nathan Sugimoto, former Band, and Music teacher for both our Upper and Lower Schools and Fine Arts Department Head , who dedicated 33 years of his life to teaching and sharing his love of music with generations of Hanalani students.
MAHALO to our new Upper School Band and Ukulele teacher, Ms. Christi Espinoza, who created the memorial at the side of the stage for Mr. S and for carrying on his tradition of musical excellence with our Fine Arts students.
MAHALO to Dr. Yeo and Mr. Kato who rounded out the evening with wonderful performances by their Strings, Hand Bells, and Choir students.
Above all else, the Upper School Christmas Concert reminded all of us that Jesus is the real reason
for the season.
