Every year, the eighth grade class takes an enjoyable and educational trip to Maui. Although the trip is not mandatory, we strongly encourage each one to attend as it is a very memorable trip. While there, we will be staying at the beautiful Grand Wailea Resort and Spa. Our itinerary is very full and includes: a snorkeling cruise, a zip-lining tour, a sunrise on top of Haleakala, shopping on Front Street in Lahaina, Maui Ocean Center, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and a few more surprises!
Our goal is to equip students to serve God and others by developing their character, skills, and knowledge of servant leadership. This premise shapes the direction of our Upper School camps and retreats. This camp is a day full of sessions both as a large body and as small groups that give the students practical take aways that can be applied at school. There are plenty of fun games and activities during the day as well as lunch provided.
Our Juniors and Seniors get the opportunity to sit in on large and small group sessions that discuss servant leadership and the impact each student has on their campus culture. Meals are provided and the students participate in team building exercises, class bonding, and games. It's the perfect chance to grow together as classmates!
