#GettingToKnowYou - Meet our new Grade 9 science teacher, Mr. Blaik Kunihisa!

 

Mr. Kunihisa was born in Japan and raised in Wahiawa. He also lived in Tahiti and California but graduated from high school in Hawaii. He previously taught at Sony Corp School in Japan for 3 years, and worked for Microsoft, Amazon, and Rakuten where he trained new employees, before joining our Hanalani ‘Ohana.

 

He loves to play basketball, swim, sign karaoke, and travel with his family.

 

A fun fact about him is he was doing YouTube with his son before Covid. 

 

Mr. Kunihisa shares his love for teaching with us, “I love the students! It’s so fun to get to know them!”
