Grade 4’s HAWAIIAN CULTURAL DAY

Grade 4’s HAWAIIAN CULTURAL DAY event was very well presented, capturing the history and culture of the islands. Each student gave a demonstration, presentation, or a representation of an influential person from the islands. They dressed the part and had an informative speech prepared for the viewers. 

Students learned how to plan and research their projects, write speeches, and developed their public speaking skills focusing on appropriate volume, diction, and facial expressions.

 

Awesome job, Grade 4 students! Great example of an excellent Project Based Learning (PBL).
