5th Graders Spend the Night Aboard the USS Battleship MIssouri
Ahoy there Mateys! Our Grade 5 shipmates spent the night aboard the USS Battleship Missouri Memorial, aka the Mighty Mo.
This field trip falls in line with their learning of world wars in their study of American History.
Our young sailors participated in guided tours and team activities that utilized their COLLABORATION and CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS.
This follows their BATTLE DAY event which taught them about World War II and now they have a firsthand experience aboard the deck of the Mighty Mo, where World War II officially came to an end.
