Both our Upper and Lower School students were blessed by the recent live chamber music performance of the Galliard String Quartet. The quartet shared insights on ensemble playing, musicianship, and their professional
experiences in the world of chamber music.
Our students asked many questions and were inspired to pursue their own musical development. Upper School string orchestra students also participated in workshops and received personalized instruction and ensemble coaching.

There will be another chamber music performance later this month by the Spring Wind Quintet. Former and current Upper School Fine Arts Band Students are welcome to join. There will be a workshop or sectional for wind players, focusing on ensemble dynamics and technical skills. Emphasizing collaborative playing, encouraging students to listen and
respond musically to each other.
