#GettingToKnowYou - Meet our new Grade 9-12 math & robotics teacher, Mr. Micah Agpaoa!
Mr. Agpaoa was born and raised in Hawaii. This is his 3rd year teaching and has taught at Leilehua high school and Wahiawa middle school, before joining our Hanalani ‘Ohana.
He loves video games. He plays them and makes them!
A fun fact about him is he has a piece of pencil lead in his ring finger on his left hand that has been there since middle school. He got it by blocking a pencil that was thrown at him.
Mr. Agpaoa shares his love for teaching with us, “my favorite part of teaching is the moment a student’s face lights up as they understand something they’ve been trying hard at, and they just weren’t getting.”
