1st Graders Community Helpers Posters are a Hit!

Grade 1 students visited Wahiawa Police Station to kick off their Project Based Learning (PBL) unit. They talked with some of the police officers, who are also Hanalani Parents, to learn about specific character traits that our local community helpers need to support our surrounding community. 

 

To show their support and gratitude, our students collaborated to design posters that illustrated community helpers, such as police officers, doctors, and teachers with their characteristics.
