4th Graders EGGcellent EGG BROODER Project

Grade 4 students had an EGGcellent time building and testing their EGG BROODERS for their STEAM WEEK project! They studied the biology of an egg and learned the different stages of development and how long it takes for an egg to hatch. They also learned how to tell if an egg is fertile or not. Heat lamps were used to test how long it takes to reach optimal temperature for chicks, which is about 100.5 degrees. To get the shy little chicks to come out of their shell, our 4th Graders scrambled to decorate their brooders to give their little chicks an EGGtraordinary home.
