    The Founder’s Award is awarded to a graduating senior each year in honor of Dr. Wallace H. Sugimoto, the first Head of School of Hanalani. Exemplary seniors are nominated as candidates for the award and are selected because they have shown they fully embody the purpose of Hanalani. They are viewed as a wise person, well-rounded in academics and co-curriculars, are a growing Christian, and demonstrate care for others.

  • Hanalani Athletics Wraps Up the 2023 Fall Season with an HHSAA Title and Three ILH Titles!

    Hanalani had a significant fall high school sports season with 1 Hawaii High School Athletics Association (HHSAA) State Title, 3 Interscholastic League of Honolulu (ILH) titles, and 34 athletes making an appearance at state championship tournaments! All of our athletes worked extremely hard this season, from our intermediate athletes to our varsity. We are happy to see the start of a high participation school year with already having 109 athletes who participated in five fall sports.
