Early Childhood

Ages 3 - 5

The Early Childhood Division contributes to the foundation begun by the home, seeking to provide experiences that develop and prepare children.

Hanalani's Early Childhood

Building on the foundation begun by the home environment, our staff seeks to provide experiences that develop a love of learning and prepare your child for a successful transition into the Elementary Division.

In the Early Childhood classes, children are introduced to basic Bible concepts and stories. Students are taught that Jesus loves everyone and He gave His Word, the Bible, as a guide for life. The development of Christian character, self-control, healthy habits, and age-appropriate responsibility are emphasized. Students are provided with a variety of experiences that allow development of social skills and manners. Students are encouraged to always do their best.

The school day consists of a teacher-prepared environment and schedule planned especially for the needs of your child.

Academic Program

Students participate in activities to develop them spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. Skills and concepts are presented through large and small group times, individual work, one-on-one time with the teacher, learning centers, field trips, specialty classes, and outdoor playtime. Christian curriculum materials from Bob Jones University and A Beka Books, as well as the Peabody Language Development Series and Addison-Wesley, are used.
