Earlier this month, Elementary students performed in Hanalani Schools annual Lei Day Program. The program, hosted in the Student Activity Center, was Elementary Principal Gwen Nakamotos first time directing. The program went very smoothly [and] the students did a wonderful job. According to Nakamoto, numerous staff as well as family members of the students pitched in to prepare the students and the stage for the program. They did good. I like the special effects they had. said Suzie Hansen, mother of 2nd and 5th grade students at Hanalani. The kids were really proud.
