A Trip to the Post Office
The K5 classes went on a field trip to the Mililani Post Office. The boys and girls were taken on a tour of the post office and heard all about the different jobs that are performed there. They learned how the mail is processed, sorted, and delivered. While on the tour the children saw: a mail carrier loading his truck, the loading dock where the mail comes in, the area where mail packages are stored that are waiting to be picked up, P.O. boxes, the back room where mail is sorted, and they saw the lobby.
