Senior Night Wrap-up

Adorned with leis and surrounded by family and friends, and complete with the Royal Rowdies, Seniors Amanda Kutaka and Alyse Sugimoto were honored in a brief ceremony last night after their match against Saint Andrews. Despite losing in two games, Amanda and Alyse still enjoyed Senior Night, 2008. After the match, the seniors soundly and definitively thrashed Coach Marvin and Coach White in a little two on two game. (The coaches were complaining about some unfair advantage, but according to Coach Hiers, head referee, he did not see or witness anything out of the ordinary.) Both Amanda and Alyse played all four years on the volleyball team and both will leave as team leaders in assists for Alyse (this year averaged over 8 a game) and digs for Amanda (over 150 for the season)

On behalf of the girls volleyball team and especially Seniors Amanda and Alsye, thank you for coming out last night and showing your support. Playoffs start next week.
