LSSL Boys Topples PHCA

LSSL Boys  volleyball came out on fire yesterday afternoon to take down on the league leaders Pearl Harbor in two straight. Solid serving and great net play led to the win. In the girls match, PHCA took the victory in two games, but not after some noticeable improvement by our Junior Lady Royals. (this is the first time playing for several of our girls)

It took three games for the girls varsity to come away with a victory over Le Jardin last night in Kailua. After struggling and losing the first game where nothing seeming to work, the Lady Royals mounted their comeback in the second game behind some tough blocking for the win. In the third, trailing coming into the  last section of the game, Taylor Mendiola went on a serving run to bring the game to a 22 tie. After a series of side outs, the third game went into overtime, where our Lady Royals prevailed to a 27-25 triumph.

Bricen Oshiro-Chin rolled a team high 442 yesterday in the season opener of bowling at Ft Shafter against perennial powerhouse HBA. HBA took all three games in the series. (Girls will start next week)

JV Girls volleyball loss in two straight last night against Maryknoll

Athletics Web Site Calendar

Our website calendar for the athletics page is experiencing a slight "glitch" in the system. It is not showing the difference between certain teams. For example, the LSSL and ILH Int. girls teams show as "Int. Girls Volleyball" and not as "Int. Girls LSSL Volleyball" or "Int. Girls ILH Volleyball".

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our network division is aware of the situation and is currently working on correcting the problem.

Thank you
