Biblical View of Life
Each day, the students learn about God and his creation. Weekly, students have a chapel time, a general assembly of all students, with a story or lesson from the Bible.
Reading As Ready
At Hanalani, reading is introduced for those who are ready in the K4 grade. Our instructional method for teaching reading is through the use of phonics, blends, and sounds.

Nurturing Environment
Because going to school is often the first experience a child has beyond the home, care has been taken at Hanalani to ensure that our program, campus, and staff are both sensitive to this transition and safe for the child.

Teachers employ a variety of methods to meet the individual needs of students, including large group time, small group time, one-on-one, and student chosen learning center activities.
